About Archana Kochar
Dr. Archana Kochar joined SimplyCare in November 2021. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and is accepting new patients. Dr. Kochar is passionate about women's care — particularly preventive care — and cosmetic medicine.
She had been part of the St. Thomas Rutherford Hospitalist group since 2009 and recently transitioned to outpatient care with our practice.
Dr. Kochar graduated from Sardar Patel Medical College in Bikaner, Rajasthan, India. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Fitzgerald Mercy Medical Center and later at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. She moved to Nashville in 2003 with her family — Dr. Ashok Mehta and their daughter Twinkle Mehta, who is now married and pursuing a career in Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia with her husband.
Dr. Kochar loves building strong connections with people, makes time in her busy schedule for those in need, and is passionate about working out and eating healthy food. SimplyCare is proud to welcome a much-needed female provider to the team.
