About Ashok K. Mehta
Dr. Ashok K. Mehta, MD, serves patients age 5 and up at SimplyCare in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. A board-certified primary care physician, Dr. Mehta provides compassionate, skilled care including telemedicine, immigration physical exams, and treatment for high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, and high cholesterol — alongside the full range of internal medicine and preventive services.
Dr. Mehta attended medical school in India, where he also completed special training in Nephrology. After arriving in the United States, he joined Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital in Darby, Pennsylvania, for his residency in Internal Medicine.
A strong proponent of evidence-based medicine, Dr. Mehta strives to always provide the proper diagnosis so the right treatment can begin. He very much enjoys working with all of his patients and looks forward to meeting new ones.
